Classic Sandwich Spread
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles or relish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Mix until well blended.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- If using, fold in the chopped parsley and pickles or relish for added flavor and texture.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Transfer the spread to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using. This allows the flavors to meld together.
- Use the spread on your favorite sandwiches, wraps, or as a dip for vegetables.
